Hi what do you like most about being Ethio-American?

i’m sorry if i’m answering this very late. i’ve been so busy recently and have abandoned my blog (tears). i’m back though & i’ve got to say one of my favorite things about being ethio-american is the small number of ethiopians in the US. i say that because once you find another ethiopian you feel a connection and for me, my sense of solidarity with other ethiopians is re-affirmed. also, having the best of both worlds is cool too— being able to not be so ethio-centric and embrace other cultures and people, but at the same time having my own culture & history to be proud about is definitely rewarding.
